Some Embroidery

Some  embroidery I have done in the past.

 

 

Things have been very busy here that I have not done any sewing. I have been working on "413Twas The Night Before Christmas", that I won from Lori at http://girlsinthegarden.blogspot.com/.

I am having so much trouble writing this post that I will sign off and return later.

Lost one of our Sewing Club members

Sad news this week as we lost one of our Sewing Club members. Mr. Floyd Correa passed away suddenly Wednesday night. His wife Margaret is the lady who runs the Sewing Club. Mr. Correa was a behind the scenes member. He purchased fabric, notions, patterns and gave us money when we did not receive any donations. Every year for Christmas he would treat all Club members to lunch as a "Thank You" for helping the homeless children. He was a very caring man involved in the church and helped struggling children.  He will be missed by all who knew him. Prayers to his wife (Margaret), sons (daughter in laws), grand children and extended family members.
